Element Library

The element library is your organisation's database of work items and unit rates. When Xtimo AI finds prices in Step 3, it searches this library to match each BOQ item to a rate.

How price matching works

For each work item in your BOQ, Xtimo AI reads the description and unit, then searches your element library for the closest match. When a match is found, the corresponding unit rate is applied to the item.

Items that could not be matched show a zero price and are flagged in the Final Audit as "no price found".

What to do when an item has no match

If an item has no price after Step 3, you have two options:

• Enter the rate manually — ask the AI Assistant to set it: "Set the rate for item 2.3.1 to 120 per m²"
• Add the item to your element library — contact your Xtimo AI administrator to update the library with the missing item type

Notes

• The element library is managed at the organisation level by your administrator
• Individual users cannot add or edit library items directly
• A well-maintained element library leads to higher price match rates and fewer unpriced items
