How It Works

Quick Mode

Upload all your files at once and let Xtimo AI process everything automatically.

Quick Mode

Quick Mode lets you upload your BOQ file and blueprint PDFs in a single step. Xtimo AI then runs the entire workflow automatically — you watch a live progress tracker and come back when the BOQ is ready for review.

How to use it

  1. Create a new project and select your project type
  2. On the upload screen, add your Excel BOQ file and/or blueprint PDFs
  3. Click Start Processing
  4. Watch the progress tracker — each phase updates as it completes
  5. When processing finishes, you are taken to the Final Audit page

What happens during processing

The progress tracker shows which phase is currently running:

  • Reading your BOQ file and extracting work items
  • Classifying blueprint pages
  • Detecting patterns in blueprint drawings
  • Extracting quantities from blueprint pages
  • Finding prices for each work item
  • Running final audit checks

How long does it take

  • Small projects (under 20 blueprint pages): typically 3–8 minutes
  • Large projects (50+ blueprint pages): typically 15–25 minutes

You don't need to keep the browser open — processing continues in the background. You can return to the project later and it will be waiting for you at the audit page.

Common issues

Processing seems stuck — Blueprint extraction is the longest phase. If the progress tracker hasn't advanced for more than 15 minutes, contact support with your project ID.

Processing failed — You'll see an error message with a description. The most common cause is an unreadable PDF (a scanned image without sufficient resolution). Try re-uploading with a higher quality file.
